Summary of clinical experience and training background

Mr Kothari has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since July 2004, during which time he has developed specialist expertise in foot and ankle surgery. He established the adult foot and ankle unit at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust, reflecting his long-standing clinical leadership in musculoskeletal care.

Mr Kothari has research interests in foot and ankle conditions. He has published and presented his work in the UK and Europe, contributing to the wider orthopaedic surgery literature in his specialist area.
Mr Kothari is a member of several key professional bodies, including: British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) Orthopaedic Trauma Society (OTS) Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) British Medical Association (BMA) He has held leadership positions within his NHS trust, including roles establishing specialist services and contributing to clinical governance.
