Dr Konappa graduated with an MBBS and subsequently achieved Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych). He has over two decades of clinical experience. His background includes practice in both general adult psychiatry and specialised forensic settings, complementing his private practice work.

Dr Konappa contributes to professional discourse through published articles on psychiatric topics such as personality disorders and bipolar disorder, reflecting a broader academic engagement with psychiatric literature.
Dr Konappa is a member of the Medical Protection Society. His MRCPsych qualification reflects membership and professional recognition by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
