Mr Odofin completed his higher surgical training in the South West of England, a region recognised for comprehensive and rigorous surgical training programmes.

He developed a strong specialist interest in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, leading him to undertake a prestigious laparoscopic fellowship at Cambridge University Hospital. This fellowship provided advanced training in complex minimally invasive colorectal procedures and helped refine his expertise in modern surgical techniques.

He is an experienced colorectal surgeon with a high-volume clinical practice, managing complex colorectal conditions within a tertiary NHS environment.

Mr Odofin has an active interest in research and service development within colorectal surgery, with particular focus on: Advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques Improving outcomes in colorectal cancer surgery Optimising day-case and enhanced recovery pathways His academic interests support the application of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement in surgical care.
