Her clinical practice includes the assessment and management of women’s health and gynaecological conditions, with interests in: Gynaecological cancer diagnosis and treatment Menstrual disorders and heavy bleeding Polycystic ovarian disease (PCOS) Pelvic pain Hormone replacement therapy counselling Colposcopy and cervical pathology Prolapse and pelvic floor conditions Endometriosis and benign gynaecological surgery

Ms Mathew qualified in medicine at Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore, India, before completing specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK, including senior roles at London and Nottingham training hospitals. She gained specialist accreditation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2008 and has over 25 years of clinical experience.

She has held quality and leadership roles in training, serving as Quality Lead for Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainees in the East Midlands and now leads the cancer service at her NHS trust.

Ms Mathew has a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education and a strong interest in medical education and service improvement.
She is a member of key professional bodies including: The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists General Medical Council (GMC) (GMC number 5194022) British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology British Menopause Society British Medical Association British Midland Obstetrics and Gynaecology
