Erectile Dysfunction (Impotence)

Erectile dysfunction, sometimes called impotence, is the inability to achieve an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse.

Diseases which may damage nerves and arteries may cause erectile dysfunction. Examples of these diseases include diabetes and multiple sclerosis.  Other causes include drugs, for example blood pressure tablets, and anxiety.

Erectile dysfunction is diagnosed and treated by urologists.
